The concept of "Speed Dating" has been around for 10+ years! Speed dating actually started in Los Angeles in 1998 when the first event was held by Rabbi Yaacov Devo, at Pete’s Café in Beverly Hills. Speed Dating eventually crossed the Atlantic and is hot in the UK and many other parts of the world now!

Objective:

The goal of these events is to help busy active singles, have a chance to meet in a pleasant non-threatening, casual environment face-to-face.

Meeting Face to Face from the start will give you a better perspective and it won’t waste as much of your time texting, IM, emailing and chatting before you actually get to meet the person - who may not be that person in the picture to whom you've been corresponding.
